Can't afford hardware cloth!! What do we do?

I have only used hardware cloth one time and that was to build my rabbit hutches. Regular poultry wire works fine for me.

Do you mean hex mesh chicken wire? How long have you had chickens?

LOL...probably not long considering they can get out of a lot of live traps.
