Solved Can't Delete Images in Album

I wanted to delete a few images from this album that I no longer need. I selected them, clicked the little option thing on the pop up, but the delete option was gone.
I clicked on the image—no delete button there either. Am I just being obtuse or did it get removed?

Did you see the garbage can above and to the right when you click on the image?

When I clicked the box on one image the delete was there.

Wait... hang on a second. I only have the garbage can on some albums. I was able to use it on one I just made, but not this one.

No garbage can on mine either.

But I can delete an album:

So I did a little more digging and it looks like I can delete and picture I uploaded after 9-29-2017.
