Solved Can't Delete Images in Album

I just checked one of the other Xenforo forums I'm one and I can delete any picture in any album, even those I made back in May.

After the conversion I had just one album, the one labeled default. Shortly after the conversion I uploaded several hundred pictures while playing around with the gallery feature. The default album is dated 2016, all others are after the conversion. I cannot delete any pictures in albums created May-mid September on the xenforo platform. Also cannot delete and from the one before the change. Does that make sense?

Yellow I can delete from, blue I cannot delete from.

Okay, so I'm really bad at explaining things, so be kind, lol. If i go to one of the no delete option albums and select picture(s), then go to one of the albums where I can delete, it shows that I have a picture selected and gives me the option to delete it.

Again, I was offering a suggestion, not hard fact. It could also be it's a glitch. I simply don't know for sure.

Yep, I did understand it was a suggestion...sorry I didn't make that clear.

I think that's because if someone deletes the gallery, references to the images still remain in the forum threads and other places where the images were inserted. I'm not 100% sure, but that's my guess.

As a test, I hard-deleted her 2nd pic from her gallery (as an admin) and it removed is from the thread post.

That's VERY helpful! I just did some digging and it seems there is a 90 day limit on what members can delete themselves.

Thanks! Do articles have edit limits? I'm trying to find somewhere on here where I can store and delete images with no time limits.
