Solved Can't Delete Images in Album

Thanks! Do articles have edit limits? I'm trying to find somewhere on here where I can store and delete images with no time limits.

I use the same photographs across multiple places and PMs. For instance, my coop progress images. In a few months from now, I am not going to need them because it will be done and over with, and then I have 50 images that are just taking up BYC space and requiring me to go through a lot more pages to find the current images.

I store most on my computer, but it's often in use by other family members and so it's nice to have a shared storage area with the other computer for things I need more frequently. Smilies are another thing... there are some I uploaded before that are really not useful, I've found, and it'd be nice to take them off. But that's just because of my keep-everything-tidy-and-useful OCD bits. I like having everything current and organized.

No big deal, I can work around it... 90 days will probably be enough time to delete unused ones. Glad to know it's not just a weird glitch.

ETA: I download or copy from the albums, not insert (most times) so it wouldn't lead to broken image links.

Just as a test. I just deleted an album named Florida Snow which was uploaded on August 10th 2017. It is now gone .
But when I try to delete an individual photo in an album from July, there is no delete feature.
I have only done this for my own personal reasons to better understand the situation better.
No reply needed for this post.

ETA: I download or copy from the albums, not insert (most times) so it wouldn't lead to broken image links.

I think if you use a picture from an album in a post, article, or pm, then delete the picture from the album that the picture is gone from all places that you used it.

it seems there is a 90 day limit on what members can delete themselves.

Can that be changed?
I think we should be delete any image in any of our albums.

Although I will probably never delete anything, I do like knowing that I could if I wanted to.

Exactly...and might want to change out some pics in articles.

I don't think articles have any edit / delete restrictions.
