I don't know what is wrong with people!!! I'm sitting on (pardon the pun) 20 dozen eggs and no one is buying them. I can't seem to even give them away!!!!!! You would think people would want cage free eggs! But nooooo! Of course they will go to Wal Mart and pay $4.88 a dozen for them. I can't understand it. I only charge $2.00/doz. I have no room left in the frig as it is now. Just yesterday I found 4 more nests with over 30 eggs in them. Anyone in my area is welcome to them or else we're gonna be eating eggs in any form I can figure!!

Omigosh, that's awful! Did you try Craigslists? What about where you work-fliers around the office? Sheesh, what the heck is wrong with people? Your church, community center, old folks home-heck the local health store might even want them! Good luck!!!

Have you listed yourself on local harvest? What advertizing are you doing? Craigslist ? In a pinch make something that uses alot of eggs, like poundcake, and freeze them for 6 months.

Yeah, I just did that yesterday, cooking some up. Only problem with that is I'll get more EGGS!!!!!! Ugh!! Don't get me wrong I love my eggs but I'm running out of space. Before long the Hispanics will be in town and they usually buy from me. But it won't be for a while till that happens.

Do you have any Hispanics in your area or a Hispanic grocery store. My neighbor sells my eggs for me at his church, so far 10 dozen a week have sold out. If that is not a option why not try putting a business card on a bulletin board.

You will find that people from countries outside the US prefer to do business with individuals and prefer natural raised products. I get $10 to $15 for my roos depending on size, but I am out of them. Find your market and you should run out of eggs.

I have the same trouble as well. I can't get anyone to buy them for more than $1.50. You could maybe try lowering the price.

I end up giving away lots of them. You can also make a giant batch of noodles. That uses up a lot of them. You can also give them to your local food bank. That can make a person feel good.

I'm sorry you can't find any customers for your eggs.

I sell mine for $2 too. I have made anouncements at church and work that I need egg cartons and I sell my surplus eggs. Plus I make sure they know what they are getting, organic, free range that cost $3.50 in the store and mine are FRESHER!!! So they don't seem to mind.

Plus I gave free samples to the folks at work to compare side by side to those they had at home from the store (regular or organic). I now have 4 regular customers from work.

I ask that my customers provide the egg carton otherwise I have to charge $.50 more. That's what they cost at TSC. I have one lady that I've filled the same carton at least 5 times. Talk about recycling!

If you can't find customers for the eggs you have now, you can always donate them to a local food pantry or soup kitchen. Make sure you get a receipt because the donation is tax deductable!

Yep I'm on Craig's list. No luck there. I advertise on a radio swap meet type thing, business cards, yard sign, word of mouth. Guess I'm gonna have to stand outside Wal Mart next. Ha!
I'm gonna give some to the local Cares Org. At least they are getting used that way!
