Got an shelless egg tonight at 10 pm. All eleven hens that are laying had already
laid today. It was not there at 7:30pm when I was up there. I had 11 yesterday too.

Here's the thing I have 3 young EE's nearing the point of lay.
The membrane was a very light tanish color not blue.
I have been told my EE's membrane should be blue even if the egg is green.
So what do you think did one of the older hens lay her tomorrow egg too early
Or is it one of the new ones that is not going to have a blue or green egg for me.

I want blue or green eggs. Waaaa! [IMG]

    the edge of insanity
With my last batch of chickens I had six EEs. I got one blue egg, one olive colored egg, three green eggs and one brown egg. It is truly the luck of the draw. I would guess it would have.been from one of your laying hens just laid prematurely.
