Can't get rid of the Bob Whites

yeah lots of people ship bob white breeding pairs to people for egg and meat or training there hunting dogs

see i have a dog im training, have pheasants, chukar and mallard ducks for her off season training.. wasnt sure if bob whites were really worth the hastle with suck small amount of meat you get from the birds.. I also live in alaska so we dont have much for upland game birds here other than ptarimgan, spruce hen and grouse.. my dog is training to be a waterfowl dog, hence the mallards.. lol. Anyways, would you think bobs would be worth it to raise? if they are i can get eggs all day long for free from a friend of mine and just hatch them out.. any input?

Bobwhites are in Oregon.

The Oregon hunting handbook states that they can be hunted like any other Quail.

"Not trying to rain on anyone but in Oregon it is illegal without proper permit to realease any bird into the wild. If you don't have permits to I would be careful about what you post. It is listed with DFW which governs over all of Oregon."
