Hello,

I am unable to post pictures. It does not matter which url I am using. The tool bar that is nomally at the top of the reply box is totally missing.

I am using internet explorer 8 and have posted pictures many times with no problem, but about a month ago I lost the tool bar that has the icon to post pictures.

I have closed the program and rebooted the computer many times, but nothing changes. I have noticed quite a few other people having the same problem.

I do not have the option of changing browsers as it is not my computer. I am wondering if I hit a button that turned that toolbar off.

Also I cannot look at new posts by clicking on the new posts link. When I do that nothing happens. I have to go to forums and select a topic and then select a thread to read.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks, unfortunately it is not my computer and I am not able to add anything to it. I am just surprised that this browser went obsolete so suddenly. It has always worked fine. Did you change something on your end that is not compatible with IE?

The engineers have to balance out keeping up with new browsers and supporting older browsers. IE 7 is now 7 years old, and IE 8 is now 5 years old... that's FOREVER in internet time.

Our site fully supports the newest versions of all the major browsers and is mostly compatible with the older versions. The older the browser the less compatible our site will be with the browser.

If you're still having problems on the newer versions of the browsers, definitely let us know!

IE 8 is the latest version for Windows XP, so you're basically saying anyone who doesn't get a new computer every couple of years may as well not try to use the site.

That cuts out a LOT of people

Oh well. It was fun while it lasted

It's strange though that it's only THIS forum that doesn't work with my setup

Actually it doesn't cut out people on old computers. It just cuts out IE since Microsoft decided it wouldn't upgrade it's own product for its own operating system. It's Microsoft that's trying to get you to upgrade you operating system from XP to 7 or 8 that's the problem.

Thank goodness there are MUCH MUCH better browsers available on XP that are 100% free!

I'm right there with you. My computer is 6 years old, running XP, but I use Firefox and the site works great for me.

IE worked before.
It's something HERE that changed
All the other forums still work correctly
