Can't seem to find "the chick saver"

Do you mean the electrolyte/vitamin supplements like Save-A-Chick or Gro-Gel? You can get them at most of the on line hatcheries / pet supple websites ie My Pet Chicken has both ... also our TSC usually carries Save-A-Chick in its poultry supplies http://www.mypetchicken.com/catalog/Baby-Chick-Supplies-c50.aspx?page=3

If you have needy chicks or just want to prevent a problem, Bovidr Labs Poultry Nutri-Drench is an excellent product. It does not need to be digested . Mainlines directly into the bloodstream with 50% uptake in 10-15 minutes and 99% uptake in 30 minutes. Nutritional helps which need digesting can take up to 3 hours. If your Tractor Supply or feed store is out of Poultry Nutri-Drench, you can substitute Pet Nutri-Drops with the same usage and dosage instructions as in the "Travel Stress" URL above per a conversation I had with the science techs at Bovidr Labs which makes both products.

If you are shipping chicks, and you want to put something in the crate with them, then you want Grogel, . It comes as a green powder for about 4.00 , enough for 100 chicks. Expands enormously when water is added to consistency of green Jello.

heck I just used Gatorade and powerade on my present 36 when they where little. I did mix it half with water.....they liked it...jeff
