Can't Stop Buying Chicks.

I just moved in with my boyfriend ( yup, livin' in sin HA ) and when he told me he wanted Chickens!? Well that did me in! For now we have a 4 hen limit in marietta but once we buy land down the road so he can have his garage and I can have my dog training building? I am going to have him build me one helluva chicken coop

Just wait till one turns out to be a miss-sexed cockerel. Then you think you should get an incubator so you don't have to buy a fresh batch of chicks next spring...
I walked into the feed store for rabbit feed, walked out with 6 ducklings. 3 days later, 18 eggs in the incubator hatched. I have a serious problem with chicken math.

Sounds like you need a few more.  I was so surprised to see how well the week old ones did with the new babies, also didn't realized how big our first batch were until we got the ones, so fast. 


Haha yes I would get more but we have a limit. We don't have any more room for chickens
