Hey everyone, I am having a very hard time telling both my buff orppingtons and New Hampshire reds apart. The problem is I am giving 4-5 away to a friend and I dont want to be stuck with all of the same ones. Any tips? I did notce that some of the yellow ones have a teeny bit of coloring on their wings, could they be the NH's? The others are solid yellow.
    Thanks

    Amy

Your Buff Orpingtons should have white legs...How old are the chicks?...all buffs have white legs...

Hmm, none seem to have 'white' legs. They are a week old.

Buff Orpingtons always have white or pale pink legs not yellow...yellow would be Buff Rocks maybe...and your Buff Orps should be a solid yellow fuzzing feathering....

Yes they are light pink, and solid yellow. Ok I think I got it.
