No, but he has looked at coop plans and layouts with me. None of the coop kits meet all of the things I'm looking for; plus I read some reviews that complained about the coops leaking and parts arriving broken. So I don't think we'll buy a kit after all.

Sort of; we've been looking at the plans for coops and runs here on BYC. And I've suggested we take stock of all of the lumber windows and building supplies we have then draw up plans that will make the most of our resources. that means save money while getting a good working coop. From what I've read a good coop design will save us a lot of time cleaning, keep our chickens safe and healthy, and make our lives easier.
