Can't wait to start hatching soon! Anyone else with 10/14 hatch day?

Such fun! I have put our last surviving eggs - all two of them- into lockdown today... Still working on getting the humidity high enough. The humidity in the room is relatively low and once the incubator warms it the hygrometer registers nothing

I am going to add water to another reservoir now and we'll see where we land up then. Right now it is at 52%. I am so happy for those of you who are already getting pips and hatches!! WOnderful time! DD is DYING for these two to hatch as one will hopefully be a replacement for her darling little d'Uccle who died earlier this summer in a very traumatic accident.

One orpington stayed clear since last time I candled so I tossed it tonight. Now I'm down to 8 orpingtons and 12 silkies - I'm still not sure that they are all good - but they aren't "bad" so they'll stay until after hatch.

I'm in LOCKDOWN! Now the real waiting begins

I'd use a praying smilie, but I couldn't find one

One of the orpingtons is moving around! Lots of loud chirps happening.

Now one of the Silkies has moved around - yeah! Another orpington has moved. Oh good - hopeful we might get a few chicks!
