We're also homeschoolers and this is going to be our 'project' for the next while

What a fun way to learn about eggs and chicks and birds, temperature, humidity etc. How old are your kids? Ours are 8 and 5. I just got a lovely flashlight today (good ole Amazon) and am itching to try it out on one of my eggs - may just have to nab one for a minute and check it out.

Yay! Glad people are having success! So far out of 15 eggs I only removed 3 for week 1.

so before I get my egg pics up here I though all of you would enjoy seeing some pictures of the Mommas and the papa of my eggs!

I have a bigger coop where all the other chickens are but when I'm breeding I use the "Honeymoon Coop"

that you see behind them!

Ok wife's not home yet but I took some pictures of the first egg and as i feared the pics don't do the slide projector justice but if you look close at the end you can see a little black mass and thats what i saw moving

this ones a little fuzzy but I took 5 pics and these 2 were the best

Isnt' that the COOLEST thing ever???
my family all just sighs when I have eggs going...
I candle daily, just to watch them move!
the coolest is the first time I see the little black dot move!
