Just figured I'd share a few pictures with you of the birding trip I took with my room mates to Cape May yesterday. We didn't see as many birds as we had hoped, but the weather was beautiful!

Thanks! We had a wonderful time. We try to do a trip to cape may every year. Last year we saw just about 70 species. This year I think we only saw forty something.

We saw a few cardinals yesterday, but not as many as we usually see. They are probably one of my favorites as well! I also love woodpeckers.

Beautiful pics! Cape May is one of my favourite places to visit. I am also a birder and I had a real treat a month or so ago when I was at my kitchen sink when I looked up and saw about 10 cedar waxwings sipping out of a puddle on my hot tub cover! I was so excited...that was a first for me!

Was that first one a purple martin?
