Someone on one of the meat bird threads mentioned seeing a diagram showing the amount of testicular material left behind during caponization and the corresponding changes associated with combs and wattles in the birds. They reported that they could not find it.
I don't know if this is the same diagram, but here is a link to a historical document from the Kansas State Agricultural Station(1943), and it shows a diagram in Figure 11, Page 22 like the one mentioned above.
