CAPONIZE Roosters

hi all I have ended up with 13 roosters and 28 hens. I do not want to kill the birds. Has anyone had any success with buttering their roosters? Is there any reason I’d not go that route?

Casstraion of roosters calms them down. They get fat easier so don’t over feed.

Buttering??? Caponizing has to be done in a certain time frame, if your birds are already roosters, over a year old, then it is definitely way to late.

I believe the age is 2-4 weeks to caponize.

4-10 weeks, I prefer 5-9 weeks period though.
