Nice looking roo! And I am a huge Star Trek fan.

I love big chickens. I hatched out some Jersey Giants this year. I kept 1 roo and 4 hens. They say the giant roos can grow until they are 1 1/2 - 2 years old. I hope they are right. Rodney is already pretty big. He is tall and skinny right now. I guess he will start to fill out once his bones stop growing. It's funny to see Rodney with the other chickens. The other day he was walking through the yard with a little Silkie rooster. They looked like Mutt and Jeff. (for the younger crowd - Mutt and Jeff are old comic strip characters. Mutt is tall skinny guy and Jeff is a little short guy)
