Car Ideas?

We do have a 2020 Honda pilot now and it's been a great car so far. It's the family car so might be a little bigger/more expensive than you'd need.
Honda, another very dependable vehicle. I have never owned one, but have known plenty of people that do and have.

@Evadig Those 3 mentioned are very good, dependable vehicles. Toyota, Honda, Mazda. The Honda Accord and Toyota Camry, or to step down a little in price and size of car, the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, or the Mazda3. I would give them all my stamp of approval. Perfect for a young lady, and anyone else for that matter.

We have a Honda Accord here. It's older than 2015, but as far as I'm concerned will meet Evadig's requirements.

I’m curious if you have Yokohama tires on it? That is what came on mine new and they are noisy and especially on rough highways.

We got the BFG G-Force Comp AS tires back when we were fixing up the car (2020). Still going strong.
I studied hard to make the tire decision, but it came down to the rain in FL. In summer we get everyday showers, so driving in the rain is a frequent situation. When I was younger, my one and only near accident was due to hydroplaning. Thank God my car swung in a way that the car I ended up facing didn't collide with me, I went slipping sideways through their lane into a grassy median. I guess it left an impression, lol.

I LOVE the G-Force tires in the rain. I never have to slow for grip, even on corners. Only for visibility. They are not the smoothest or quietest, or longest lasting, but I appreciate the confidence a lot.

I’ve heard they’re dependable, but I sat in a few and didn’t care for the seats. They seemed rather…hard. But everyone else liked them so maybe it’s just me.

They are so hard. I hated when uber or lyft drivers showed up in a honda, the backseats are the worst.

How goes the search? Did you test a Mazda yet? A Shelby Mustang?

Ok, at least I’m not the only one who dislikes Honda seats!

No I haven’t tried a Mazda yet (none in my price range in my area) and I need an SUV, so Mustang’s out of the question (not like I would drive one anyway!).

More car shopping tomorrow after I drop my little sister off for her first day of community college. Hopefully I’ll find something by the time she gets out of class!

SUV? I don't remember you saying it had to be a SUV. I remember you saying a "hatch", but I thought you said car and hatch. There are sedans with hatchbacks. You can get the Mazda3, Honda Accord, and others with a hatchback. They are not SUV's, though. So, I guess you can scratch all those. The Toyota Camry is not a SUV either.

Of course, you can get a SUV with Toyota, Honda, Mazda and most any brand.

Butttt you have the perfect excuse to test drive a 500+ hp mustang, and I don't :(

A full SUV is pricey to keep fueled. If you're rich and have 4 kids that probably doesn't matter :p

Try one of the Mazda 3's with the hatchback. I bet you could fit a bunch of chickens in there!
Oookaaay, I'm being pushy. Vicarious experiences, you know. Take some pictures of shiny things to show us :D Then we will probably all support whatever you decide. Except a kia, I can't support that.

Sorry, I meant to just meant to say it has to have a hatch. Wagons are fine too, just SUVs seem to be more common.

I’m not rich, unfortunately, and I don’t have any kids. I do have a sister and my dog and her dog to tote around, so…

I’ll take some pictures tomorrow!
