Cara Cara trying to break thru bcc to get in house
He stands 2 ft tall and has about a 30 inch wingspan. He runs around on the ground charging the chicken house like a mad dog.
I managed to get 1 picture from a distance. Any suggestions ANY is appreciated

What is the problem? Do you think he'll actually get in? Easiest thing to do is just let him get frustrated. Caracaras are pretty smart and eventually he'll figure out he can't get an easy meal. Just like a raccoon that treis to break in 5 nights in a row eventually figures out its time is better spent elsewhere. You can also scare it away. they won't hurt you (but wear a hat just in case)

If the birds are behind hardware cloth the Cara Cara won't be able to directly hurt them. The birds may injure themselves panicking though. I imagine it will move on shortly after being unable to catch one, but you can simply drive the bird away as well.

Caracaras usually don't go after live meals. I'd check to see if something isn't dead.

Just never seen such an aggressive bird.
He has bent/dented the hardware cloth.
I'll just wait him out

I moved birds to garage after Cara Cara pushed hardware cloth and broke a couple wires. Repaired coopandAfter 3 days of no sitings I moved birds back to their coop....so far so good
