Algar caught the strange rule that Luna had imposed. Shapeshifting...? He brushed it off as nothing more than Luna being slightly odd...
Perhaps leaving her in the dark was not as cruel as he had at first thought then. But still, he felt guilty abandoning her. "I need to find some way to get the door open. I'll be back," he said, turning to leave, then turned back to look at the prisoner. 'What's your name?"
"I'll be back," Terrick repeated, hoping he could keep his word to the girl. But it seemed she was in no immediate danger, so he hurried back to where he had left Pike. Kneeling down to check on the snake bite, he said "Looks like these ******** make a habit of abducting travelers. I didn't find Linden and Mavis, but they've got a girl locked up over there"
