(Dun dun dun... lol. Nice)

Mavis jumped at the sight of Tianea in her Tiger form. Exotic animals like the White Tiger were not native to these forests, he knew, he had only seen pictures of them in books stored in his parents library. The whole situation became even more confusing though when the Tiger transformed suddenly into a woman who looked reasonably normal and spoke in a language he could understand. As his mind struggled to comprehend Karin's betrayal, he was vaguely aware of the dumbfounded and hurt expression which was plastered across his face. He had only spent a limited amount of time as a guard, and for the rest of his life he had been raised as an honest and trustworthy person. Karin's betrayal struck him hard and left him speechless.

Karin laughed at his face. Tianea shifted back into a tiger and karin half lifted half thrown mavis onto tiaea's back. The tiger set off with karin following.

Mavis coughed out an "Oof" sound when he fell onto Tianea's back. Since the Tiger was not a horse and was obviously not wearing anything like a saddle or ropes to hold him on, besides the ones binding his wrists and ankles, he rolled sideways off her back and fell the the ground. The impact was hard and it hurt. He knew he wasn't going to be able to get away from either bandit, but he also didn't want to willingly give in and make it easy for them.

Raven laughed "Doubt that, so you have not found it. That's good." She moved to glance around the tree "And if you keep up attacks on the other humans on the road, it will go out of use and my forest will return to the peaceful place it used to be."

Brylla knew there was some truth to the elf's words. But it was not of immediate concern to her, so she did not acknowledge it.

"I'll just..." she stopped mid-sentence, mouth agape, as a terrifyingly large white cat came into view. The tiger was still some distance away, but seemed to be headed their direction. Something smaller sat upon it's back and Brylla watched whatever it was fall to the ground.

The bandit glanced nervously at the elf to gauge her reaction to it, wondering if the elven woman had somehow summoned the creature.

Karin saw brylla. "Tianea.." she warned. Tianea nodded and continued on.

Karin lifted mavis back on to tianea's back. This time she strapped him on.

Mavis struggled and thrashed as much as he could, fighting with every scrap of strength he possessed in his small body. The ropes on his hands and feet, however, limited his movements and it wasn't hard for Karin to strap him back onto Tianea. "Let me go!" He pleaded, with an edge of panic and desperation to his voice. "Please don't kill me!"

Karin looked at him. "We arent going to kill you." She said. Tianea growled and karin went quiet.

"Then what do you want with me?" His voice became quieter and he looked at Karin with the eyes of a twelve year old boy, not a battle hardened guard like Linden or Terrick. When his Aunt had signed him up for the caravan trip he hadn't realized it would end up like this. By now she probably had some of the money and was using it to feed her dependence on alcohol. He wondered if she even cared whether or not he would return home, or if she knew what kind of trouble he was in.

Karin ignored him.

Tianea growled at mavis and flicked her tail.

Mavis fell silent when nobody answered his question. He knew it was pointless and a waste of energy he didn't have to protest against them. The ropes were tight against his skin to prevent him from falling off a second time, they began to rub against and chafe his fair skin until the point where they were nearly bleeding as he was bumped and jostled on Tianea's back. His head was sore with exhaustion and pain, during the previous fall he had whacked his head on the ground, and it felt like his skull was squeezing his brain tighter than normal.
