"What are his wounds? And which is most serious?" Tianea said leaving the door open for Rook she went over to a desk and started sorting through small vials of herbs.

(No worries! Take your time.)

Rook hesitated before coming inside, having never been invited into Tianea's private space before. "He's got a swelled up cut on his head bout here," he held a finger up to his own forehead to demonstrate. "And a nasty looking bruise bout here," again demonstrating by pointing to his own ribs.

He continued, unaware of any hostility between Algar and Tianea. "Algar took him, 'long with the caravan man, to the back cavern," he said, simply referring to the location where any long-term "guests" were kept. "Not sure what else, but he looks rough. Barely opening his eyes, moaning and coughing."

"Hmm.. The bruise on his ribs could be... No... But maybe..." Tianea muttered to herself as she looked through her herbs. "Cut on the forehead... Coughing.." Tianea holding multiple small vials of herbs turned around. "I think all of this will work..." Se said walking past Rook out the door.

This is silly, Brylla thought to herself as she watched Rook hurry after Tianea. She stepped from the shadows after the two had left, pondering how to best get some sort of explanation about all the cloak and dagger secrecy. The sound of Tianea's and Rook's footsteps faded away in the distance and Brylla looked about the room, searching for some sort of clue. She even took a torch from the wall and shined the light back into the hidden tunnel to see how large it was.

(What does she find?)

"Can I carry somethin for you?" Rook offered to Tianea as they walked toward the back cavern.

Mavis tossed and turned in the small cot. He was cold, than hot, than cold again all within a few minutes. His head was so sore, and all he wanted to do was sleep, but whenever his mind began to drift images of the terrifying White Tiger leaping towards him and Brylla made him wake up in a panic. The roof and walls of the cavern seemed to swirl around him and he couldn't focus in time to see anything clearly before it spiralled away again. Am I dying? The thought frightened and comforted him at the same time. Will I see my parents again? Do they even remember me? He felt so far away from them in the dim cavern. Please don't leave me...

"No thanks." Tianea said.

Rook looked slightly disappointed as Tianea declined his offer for help. "Oh.. just let me know if I can do something for you," he said hopefully.

As they entered the cavern where Linden was chained and Mavis lay fighting a fever, Rook noticed the fire had started to burn down, so busied himself stoking it back to life.

Linden heard their voices approaching the cavern before he seem them, and if he hadn't been so worried about Mavis he probably would have come up with some sarcastic comment to throw at Rook for his attempt at flattering Tianea, but he was too tired to bother. He stood up and approached Tianea as close as the chain would allow and asked, "Can you help him?"

Tianea took charge. She put some vials down then a stone bowl and pour in some water and a few herbs. After mixing them together she handed the pasty mixture to linde. "Give him this." She ordered. Then rinsed out the bowl and mixed another paste. Which she rubbed on Mavis's multiple cuts including his forehead. She turned to Rook. "Get me some bandages." She ordered.

"What is it?" He asked suspiciously, lifting the bowl to his nose and fixing a hard stare on her.

"Luna" Raven smiled gently

Terrick shook off his irritation at the annoying girl. If she could help them get their friends back, he supposed he could stomach her quirks for a few hours. "If you help us, can you manage to keep your mouth shut when lives are on the line?" he asked, concerned that life alone in these dangerous hills really had driven the girl slightly mad.

(ChickenBooBoo, do you want the 4th on our rescue squad? If not, no biggie. I can use one that I already started.)
