Merek did not even stir as Pike tightened the rope, still out cold from cracking his head against the large rock.

Col gasped and grimaced in pain as Pike's movements jostled the arrow still sticking out of his arm. Taking Col's threat seriously, he replied quickly. "They're..." he said through gritted teeth, "...they're hidden in the cave." He stopped there, deciding not to volunteer any extra information.

Noticing how Col flinched when the arrow was jostled, Pike reached over with one hand and jerked it sideways to hopefully stir Col's memories. "That doesn't help, bandit..." He growled dangerously, threatening to move the arrow again. "Where in the cave? Did you harm them?" The blood spilling from Col's arm made him queasy, despite his rather gruesome intentions to move it, but thinking about what the bandits could have done to Linden and Mavis made him ruthless.

"AAAaahhHHH," despite Raven's earlier warning not to call out, Col couldn't help a cry of pain when Pike jerked the arrow to the side. It was a few seconds of sharp breaths before he recovered enough to provide an answer. "I didn't touch them! Someone gave the boy a beating, but I swear it wasn't me!" he said desperately. "Last I heard, he was alive, okay?!" he added hastily, lest Pike jerk the arrow shaft again.

After Brylla had awoken Karin, she stepped out of the sleeping area into the main tunnel just in time to see someone's back disappearing around the corner ahead. Hastily, she followed, her untied boots making her footfalls echo down the tunnel.

Raven flinched at his scream. She glanced back at the men, then back to the tunnels. "How do we get to them?"

"And the man? Linden? What about him?" Pike demanded, refraining from jerking the arrow shaft again since Col had decided to cooperate. "Tell us where they are, and I swear that I will let you live... you and your friend. You have my word."

After he was finished stating his terms, Pike released some of the pressure on Col's chest with his knee, hoping to give the bandit a little bit more incentive to cooperate by showing a small amount of compassion. Hang on just a little bit longer, Mavis... he prayed silently in response to Col's information.

Karin hurriedly pulled her boots on and tied them into a loose knot. Grabbing her weapon, A knife. She went after Brylla.

Luna heard the foot-falls. "That is not a mouse" She thought as she spun to face the way she had came and drew her sword.

"He's fine, far as I know," Col answered, glaring at Pike, but anxious to keep him from jerking the shaft of the arrow again. It hurt worse than anything he'd ever felt, including several broken bones he's suffered over the years. But was it worse than betraying the bandits? The only people he now considered family. He glanced at Merek's unconscious form, weighing his options. "Past the common room, in a deep tunnel. But I'd have to show you. The tunnel's hard to see 'less you know where to look."

"Luna!" Brylla gasped in surprise as she rounded the corner and came face to face with the girl. "What are you doing here?" she spat.

Pike glared back at Col, and the two had a silent 'eye to eye' showdown as Pike considered what Col offered. He felt a small amount of relief to hear that Linden and Mavis were still alive, but he wasn't sure how much he could trust the bandit. On that same note, he was afraid that the moment they entered the tunnel Col would shout for help and blow their cover. So far they had been successful in fending off the few people who had discovered them, but he wasn't naive enough to think that they would stand a chance against the bandits at full strength.

He turned towards Raven and Terrick for advice, still holding on to Col. "What do you guys think?"
