Pike glared back at Col, and the two had a silent 'eye to eye' showdown as Pike considered what Col offered. He felt a small amount of relief to hear that Linden and Mavis were still alive, but he wasn't sure how much he could trust the bandit. On that same note, he was afraid that the moment they entered the tunnel Col would shout for help and blow their cover. So far they had been successful in fending off the few people who had discovered them, but he wasn't naive enough to think that they would stand a chance against the bandits at full strength.

He turned towards Raven and Terrick for advice, still holding on to Col. "What do you guys think?"
Raven turned to look at Col "I say gag him if we do let him lead the way. Gag them both, and hide that one." She added pointing to Merick, then turned back to the cave.

Pike nodded in response. "We don't need the unconscious one to find Linden and Mavis. He's already bound, can you gag him and hide him in the bushes? If someone else comes in or out of the tunnel I don't want them to see him... that'll surely make them suspicious. As for this one," he glanced at Col. "We can certainly gag him, and if he makes a peep out of place he's as good as dead. I'll make sure of that."

Raven nodded and reached into her bag to find a cloth to use to gag Merick, putting her bow on her back and replacing her arrow in the quiver. Once he was gagged to her satisfaction she checked the ropes binding him and started moving him into the bushes.

Col's eyes narrowed at the news he was to be gagged, but he did not respond.

Terrick nodded, feeling uneasy about the plan, but there seemed to be no other option. Without Luna, they'd surely become lost in the caves and who knew how extensive the cave system was.

Although he shared Terrick's uneasiness about the plan, Pike reached into his pocket and pulled out a suitable cloth to use as a gag. He tied it around Col's face tight enough that it would restrict the bandit from speaking freely, but not so tight that it cut into his lips or limited his breathing. "I'm sorry, this is probably going to hurt... but you'll thank me once we get into the tunnel." Without giving Col a chance to protest, Pike reached over and yanked the arrow shaft out of his arm. He threw it into the surrounding bush and hauled the bandit quickly to his feet.

"Do you think we should tie him up too?" He asked for Terrick's opinion.

"Luna!" Brylla gasped in surprise as she rounded the corner and came face to face with the girl.  "What are you doing here?" she spat.

Luna seemed shocked ay Brylla's appearence but quickly maintained a fighting stance. "Brylla!" Luna spat. "I thought they got rid of you. Aiding in my escape and all." As Karin rounded the corner and froze Luna studied her closely. "And Karin. You've recovered." Luna said asthough she were talking to an old friend. "No thanks to you! Karin snarled glareing daggers at Luna.

Col was doing his best not to look completely defeated and miserable as the blood from his nose ran down onto the gag and was doing an okay job at it until Pike yanked out the arrow that was embedded deeply in his arm. Even through the gag he managed to make a pretty awful, but muffled scream and his right hand clenched tightly into a fist as the arrow head tore even more of the muscle in his left bicep on the way out than it had on the way in.

Col staggered as Pike hauled him to his feet, woozy from the loss of blood. "If you don't want him pulling that gag down, I would." Terrick replied, not feeling any particular compassion for the low life scum before him.

"Only because you promised never to return," Brylla said, moving slightly to the side so that Karin could move up next to her in the narrow tunnel. She hoped things wouldn't come to blows with Luna, but if it did, she preferred it'd be two against one.

Raven retrieved her arrow, cleaning it before setting it in her bow again and starting back down the stairs
