Care for duckies

Anyone have a good site on taking care of baby ducks? My duckies are 5 days old and so far I've been caring for them like I did my chicks, except unmedicated food. Now I'm wondering when they can go swimming.

My first ducklings come tomorrow (or Wednesday). I do have 2 goslings, though, that are 3 weeks old. They have only been swimming once. I need to get them in the tub again.

I'd say you can safety let them try swimming in a shallow tub. Just be sure they are dried off pretty well before going back in the brooder. First time out don't let them swim too long or get too tired. Always stay with them while they are in the water.

I haven't learned yet when it will be safe to put them out with a swimming pool or pond without supervision. I know they need to feather out before they can handle drying off on their own.
