I'm so old I Remember when:

You forgot to mention this generation (at least the CEO’s who new) knew about pollution and did nothing to stop it. On the contrary they started lawsuits against people who tried to stop the pollution.
And i am not talking about one kind of pollution. There are many ways you can destroy a healthy environment.

I name a few that pop up: Greenhouse gasses, Mining, herbicides and pesticides, Plastics, large-scale factory farming, steel factories, PFAS production, chemical processes to make clothing and paper, asbestos (now forbidden), cadmium for yellow an red paint/colouring, bombs, nuclear plants.

The male boomers (mostly arrogant and rich white males) are to blame for the positive progress, and for the pollution as well.
Don't even get me started on this road! I didn't say everything was all 'rosey', just that we have seen a tremendous advancement in technology, for the better and the worse.
Being of Comanche/Irish desent, I walk two roads....one white, one red. In today's society it is extremely hard to follow the good red road.
One man that has had a profound impact on my life and how I see society today was John Trudell, a man, wise beyond his years.
This song of his is how I see things too! You can't bring the past back but as Indian peoples we 'remember' how it was before colonization!
