I'm so old I Remember when:

I don’t remember this per se because I wasn’t alive yet but I see it in music videos, movies, etc. sooooooo…

The giant, crazy hair and stuff from like the 80s LOL

Speaking did you guys actually do this and if so… HOW!?!?!?!??!?! Seems like a lot of work. LOL
Never had the patience for it, but I did have a 'rat tail'!
:lau

I went all in on the fashion though. The New Wave fashion, that is.

You don't need to go all the way back to the 80s for crazy hair! One of my girl friends had over a foot tall spiked mohawk in the 2000s, another girl friend still keeps her hair dyed in a literal rainbow, and before I met him my husband would shave the sides of his head every few years and dye the rest bright blue. But yeah, the really teased up big hair was something else. From watching my mom as a kid all that was necessary was a pick and hairspray, but she wasn't going for that Twisted Sister look (more like Dr. Annie Cavanero from St. Elsewhere), so I don't know if more would be needed to achieve that sized hair. Mom would wake up at ungodly hours in order to get her hair and makeup ready for work. And of course all her dresses at the time had massive shoulder pads!
