Went out this morning to feed the chickens. Made them a basket full of cucumbers,lettuce,bananas and catelope. Walked into the pen and had most of them jumping for the food,,but one seen the scratch on my leg and decided to take a bite. Was coming back for more but I changed her mind,, with a swift kick to the butt. They are the only animal ,I can think of,,,, that after feeding on taking care of,,,will eat you alive if you let them. Someone said on here once,,"Dont ever pass out in the coop" . That is the serious truth!!!
Ouch! Sometimes they really show their darker side. Now you must know how it feels to be a picked-on pullet.
