caring for roosters

I now have a new young rooster, in addition to the older Americana, who is getting aggressive. I've been advised to trim his spurs and studied how to do it. However I fail to find whether roosters have just one spur on each foot, or if each toe has a spur??

One spur at what looks to be ankle on each leg. Usually bird is 18 months or more before such proceedure warranted.

Hot potato! No joke! I have not done it myself but that is what i have heard although you should get the vet to do it
