CAROLINA CHICKENSTOCK FALL 2012

I do believe we will have decent temps for that Saturday. I will probably wear shorts and a T-shirt with a light jacket for the morning. Overnight lows will probably be in the 50's so a cool start that morning.
If I bring chicks they will have the hand warmers inside the boxes or cages to help ward off chills. And I plan to pack towels in case the cages need to be covered. I wish I had an awning of some sort but everyone I have ever owned got destroyed by our wind here. I may bring my big beach umbrella though.

One week and half a day to go!!!

Hello all. I am new to chickens. We got 5 RI, 4 Ameracauna and 1unknown roo in March. I will try to post a pick of the roo and would appreciate any help in identifying him. We then were given 4 silkies and another Ameracuana in May. All were supposed to be female. Oops I now have 2 black silkie roos. I am going to come to Chickenstock to try and meet some of you. I have learned quite alot from reading your posts on here. Is anyone interested in buying or trading the silkie? I would like to get another black one but a girl this time. My daughter doesn't really want to get rid of him, but too many roos. Thanks for all your help.

I am seeking duck egg cartons, chicken egg cartons and or flats, and if anyone has a properly sized carton for Serama eggs, I will be your best friend forever!! No seriously, I really need something to put my Serama eggs in so they wont break LOL
