Carpenter Ants!! In coop!!

I have the same problem. I did notice one of my chicks eating the ants. I have some DE and cornmeal and grits so I think I will try some of each of those. I also have sevin dust and although it is suppose to be safe, I will only put it under and outside of my coop. I don't feel safe putting it in the enclosed coop or in their bedding. I hope this stuff works because I don't really have another pen to keep my little ones in.
