Carpenter ants in hutch; considering freeing quail

I think carpenter ants are among the ones that secrete formic acid when they die. Have you ever smelled that? It is so nasty. I can't imagine that they taste good.

Facebook won't allow the posting for animals. They even consider eggs to be animals.

I'm not on Facebook but I've heard you just have to word it right. Like "Quail up for discussion" or "they're looking for a new home."

Apparently, they're as bad as termites for domestic infrastructure. Plus, as mentioned, the hutch is made of wood. We're planning to call in an exterminator to treat the area. I'd rather the quail not be around for that.
