Welcome to byc! Goodluck with town hall, when the hubby and I lived in wenonah nj they told him you needed a minimum of 35 acres for 1 chicken... there isn't a single property in that town with that much land. Thankfully here in Maine we arent restricted. Let me know how you make out.

Hi! New to this...Really excited though...just built my coop from scratch looked at a lot of designs on here. Got some great ideas..Wow! This is a cool site! I haven't bought my chickens yet...I am in a residential area.. no neighborhood association or covenants as far as the neighborhood goes..How do I find out how many chickens I can have in my neighborhood in Carroll County GA and laws about doing so? I would like to have 6 with no Rooster to start(get the neighbors use to the chickens first). But if I can have a rooster I sure would like to. Thanks for any answers or help with this!
