I'm looking for 6-egg cartons in the jumbo size. I found them that are sized for S,M,L, and XL sized eggs, but I'm wondering if they'll work for big duck eggs. I haven't weighed them but they have to be jumbos. Of course I can find jumbo-sized dozen-egg cartons, but I want the six-egg style. Will the S-M-L-XL size work?

Wherever you found the egg boxes you are interested in buying, give them a call and explain your dilemma. I'm sure they will have the best answer for you.

if you have an XL 12 pack try that and see if you can close it so it latches. Same for the Jumbo. I know that my Muscovy eggs wouldn't let a jumbo size egg carton latch and we ended up using rubber bands, string or tape to hold them shut. good luck in your search!

If you find some please post where you found them, I'd like some also. If your duck eggs will fit into the XL or Jumbo 12ct you could cut the carton in half. It doesn't look that pretty but does work to protect your eggs a bit. I've used the XL 12 ct cardboard carton and cut it in half .....It still didn't close well but the cardboard stretched a bit whereas the foam cartons just cracked.
