Cat boxes- new use!

Yes they lie to sell, but the best boxes are still smaller than the litter boxes. I think I may have some PVC pipes in the shed. Good idea. Thanks!
So if they get the population numbers wrong why would you think the nest boxes are the 'right' size ;) that was my point.

PVC would work if you can cut a slot length wise, but I was thinking flexible tubing that you can cut with scissors...like I did on these feeders.

I guess it's possible, but I also just saw a post on the great scavenger hunt thread and there are two hens in one box, made from a cat litter bucket. If any of mine don't like them, I guess I will find out if they last on the ground.

Just because you can cram so many birds in a nest(or a coop) doesn't mean that's the best scenario.

I think they will be fine for your bantams.
 
Well, I believe we are just going to have to agree to disagree because my daughter just collected two eggs from two different boxes AND as I said, most of my birds ARE bantams.
