cat genie??

Has anyone used this product? I have considered trying it, but the price tag has me cringing.

If it works it may be worth the investment.

They claim it's echo friendly but it seems pretty wasteful.

Best thing I started using for my cats was plastic tote boxes for $5 to $8. No more issue with over spray! Ofcourse the fat cats would have a hard time getting in and out.Gotta say that cat toilet is pretty darn cool,but dh would kill me if I bought it. If you buy it update on it. I will send a link to a friend who pampers her cats.

I've seen the product and it seems to me that it's just like a Diaper Genie which I had given as a baby shower gift 13 years ago. IF so...

Every time you put in a deposit (diaper or cat poo), you twist the bag. That's what is suppose to keep the smell in. Eventually you will pull out a lumpy snake that you'll put into a larger trash bag for the garbage men to take away.

Since the Diaper Genie has been out on the market, and the Cat Genie is same technology, maybe there won't be this problem but during the diapering years of my oldest son, there was a design change and I had to make sure I bought the correct size refills for my older Diaper Genie version. By the time my youngest son came along, I decided to use All-In-One Cloth Diapers so I don't know how easy it was to still buy the old sized refills.

Because of my former experience with the Diaper Genie, I'm in no rush to spend money on the Cat Genie. I have a sifting Cat Litter box and will stick with that.

Saw those and thought of the Diaper Genie too!

I just bought a self cleaning covered cat box. Don't have to nag DS to clean the boxes, it is now empty the tray. LOL!
