I'll be sure to update this thread :)
Indeed, there are a lot of knowledgable people here.

Also forgot to mention that my cat is 10. He's been doing this for as long as I can remember though.
I had a late cat who, at the age of 14, was throwing up several times daily.

Sort of like my dog. She would eat to fast and throw up. But hounds are subject to twisted stomach. So we're broke down and got her a slow eater bowl, bit I don't think they make anything like that for cats. I have an older cat that can no longer have any sort of table foods not even tuna juice any more.

Typically the best treatment for any over eating animal is to reduce feeding. It can take time to figure out the right amount though and how often to feed. Like my dog, she doesn't know when stop and will clean the dinner table and the cat bowl if allowed too, but not only does it make her sick but it's annoying send unhealthy as will so she isn't allowed in the house if any food is with in her reach, which basically means everything has to be put away first

He was just at the vet and is perfectly healthy. :)
He just really likes to eat.
I see him at the feeder at least 6 times a day. He goes outside like every hour so I don't think it's boredom.

Some healthy cats just eat too fast. Doesn't matter if you free feed or feed on a schedule, they gobble it down and bring it back up.
A Vet recommended using an elevated feeding dish. This solved the problem in one of our households. good luck!

:celebrate Not having to clean up cat puke is definitely something to cheer about. LOL I guess free feeding some cats works out and some cats it doesn’t. I can’t with my cat because it made her… Well huge! But at least I wasn’t cleaning up cat puke that’s good. Glad everything is working out for you!
