Cat has eye injury! Help please!?

So I've checked him completely and I just cleaned his eye. He doesn't have any marks or anything where it would look like he got attacked or in a fight. So I'm wondering if he got bit by a spider (I live where widows and recluse are very very common) or he got into a briar bush.

He definitely didn't like me cleaning it and I was being extremely careful. I'm sure his eye is sore. I figure out it's his top lid and 3rd lid inside that are swollen. Can I use acetaminophen children strength on him? He's about 7-8 lbs

My cat went outside with me last night and wandered off and I couldn't get him in until this morning. When he came in his eye was swollen and he looked like he scratched it. But now I'm noticing his nose is swollen too. I live in the country so I highly doubt anyone hurt him. There is possibility of wild animal but very slim. Running into another cat of the beighborhood is a possibility too. I will get pics soon but does anyone know what I can use on him to kind of clean the tears and stuff? Is it safe to use regular eye drops on cats?? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!
Maybe he got stung by a insect or something. Happened to my cat too, you should send him to the vet, thats what I did. Wish you the best of luck though!

Thank you! But none of the vets here are open yet unless it's a life threatening emergency. I've called and get the same recorded message about covid and keeping animals safe about 4 times! It's very frustrating!
