One of our male cats decided to jump onto the counter in the bathroom where we have a bed for him. He must have put too much force into the jump before I heard a smack and saw him turning away from the wall. I don't think he hit it too hard but I always worry when an animal hits themselves on something.
He's currently just doing his usual meowing that all Siamese do and he's also acting fine/normal.

What signs do I look for that may issue a vet visit??

Head shaking, loss of balance, unequal pupillary reaction. Hard to include sleepiness or lethargy - that always looks like “normal cat” to me.

Excessive crying or change in tone that indicates pain. Hiding in dark, enclosed spaces away from everyone else.

Just a few things that can mean problems.

I don’t know that I’d get too worried, though. Cats are pretty tough when it comes to falls or bad landings.

Think you've half answered your own question.
Just check for any abnormal behaviour. Cats are pretty tough on the whole. Created to live outdoors.
He may have just used up one of his 9 lives!😁
I know but we once had a cat who acted fine and ending up needing to see the emergency vet hours later
