I want to add my 2 cents to this...love this thread!!! We have 2 indoor cats, and one outdoor.
A little on our out door lady.....She is OLD, she adopts any stray I bring home (kittens) well since we put the heat lamps on and put the 25 chicks in the brooder she has been laying on top of it. The babys dont even move when she jumps up there....I think she is gaurding them from the other wild animals in the area....the brooder is out in the garage (thats Krowned Kats area) and it is the sweetest thing...have to move her off the top each time I want to feed or water or love on the babys!!! We took one inside cat out to see them tonight....cats and chicks are a sweet combo!!
