It sounds like Blade is trying to show his dominance and reign as king of the yard. The girls may decide to become the best of friends, its hard to say with cats. This is the first time that BB & Stinker got in the dog house with Lizzy. Last winter Lizzy was in there all by herself. They had their different corners but it was the same dog house, that is a huge improvement over past behaviors.
I would get Blade neutered even if grandpa isnt inclined to do so. It will calm his behavior, stop the mating and fighting (I have a neutered tom that will still fight if a stray comes into the yard but then again, so will BB) also there is a less chance of him contracting FIV or Fel Leukemia. In tact toms usually dont live long lives. He will be less inclined to roam looking for females to mate with and coming in contact with other males vying for the same female.
I realize the expense in "fixing" alot of cats, that is where the majority of my money goes. Call around to vets in your area, there can be a vast difference in the charges. If I go to my regular vet its $100 but if I travel the opposite direction its $55, you can guess where I take the "strays" that find my farm.
Good luck with your girls. I am sure they appreciate the good home.
