All the other hens and rooster are locked away in their coop and run. She still seems to be broody but wont go back, and wont let me get her back in either.

Yeah he sounds like he needs to go. There are too many good roosters in the world to put up with a bad one.My rooster should have gone days ago. He attacks everyone but had a good several days so I decided to keep him. He will run 100 yards to attack me. But I do know, that that is nature. She has been separated in a little coop we built, that is going to go ontop of her own run for she and the chicks. I had it open barely and he squeezed in.

That’s ok! It wasn’t your fault, they can be sneaky little dudes when they want to, and very fast! I’ve got one boy who really should go too, he’s ok with the hens, mostly, but really aggressive towards people. He’s just so gorgeous, and I assisted his hatch, and he was so sweet, up until he turned into a testosterone crazed monster practically overnight. It’s hard sometimes.
Goodness! It's almost like he is angry that she is away. And inaccessible for him. Like come on now, she is hatching your babies!
