Well today is day 25..only one has hatched and it's super cute! My daughter named it Stormy. The other eggs are starting to stink. I'm really grateful we got atleast one from the salvaged eggs! I'm thinking about going to get some chicks so it's not lonely, when it's time for snowflake to move on.

Congratulations on the chick, considering the circumstances it’s a wonder it survived! I think getting it some friends would be a good idea, you might be able to get mom to adopt them!

I'm thinking if I swap out the eggs with new chicks, she won't even realize! Hahaha! But she has been getting off the eggs alot today, so maybe she knows they arent progressing.
