Catching a fox and relocating it to keep your chickens safe

On Sunday 10 my chickens got attacked by a fox and 2 of them died. I want to catch the fox and relocate it to the mountains is this legal?

To save you the time of reading (though easy to find) you ARE permitted to trap a fox but you must kill it. Relocating the fox requires a permit.

Yes my dog barks at something everynight and when it snows we see fox tracks on the roof
