Catching a trap smart coon :/

I personally show no quarter to anything that tries to eat something of mine. But to each his own.

The dp traps work great. I like to go with mini marshmallows and something runny/sticky like syrup or grape jelly. If the ants get too bad I will switch to sardines and juice. Commercial fish pellets and molasses is killer dog proof 'coon trap bait. Remember that they are not totally dog proof even though that is what they are called. There have been instances where old blue has been caught by the tongue. Not pretty. That is why it is important to stay with the sweet fruity baits to avoid dogs and cats.
