catching Egyptain Geese

Hi,

This spring we were given two Egyptian Geese. They have enjoyed the summer free range around our pond. We have found that we will not be able to keep them and need to catch then. Any suggestions for how to get hold of them? Anyone in Western PA, Eastern OH want them?

Where do they sleep at night? I would think catching them at night would be easiest....

They will eventually need to come in for food.
Where do you feed them?
Only feed them once daily at the same time
and place where you want them go...in a pen.
You can start luring them into a pen with feed.
Make it a daily ritual.
They should catch on in a week or two.
If you don't have a pen maybe construct a temporary
one with some cheap plastic mesh or snow fencing.
You might have to get a chicken catcher net if you can't corral them.

PS make sure to clip their wings once caught.
