Catching some one else's hen

What is the best way to catch someone else's chicken when it gets out of the run? it happens every year and I am just about to put pea seeds in and I don't want the little monster getting them. I chased it back in today (i think it didn't want to hang around the man woman) but if I can catch it and plop it back in it would be less stressful.

you could hose it, or get one of the hook or net chatcher things.

I will keep a net, cant hose it no water on the allotment but if he/she tries to peck my bum again its bbq time. This is why my run is going to be covered!!

Depending on the size- try popping a wastebasket on top of it
