I was outside today and I decided to give the chickens a caterpillar I found. They would not touch it! That is the only that they haven't eatenthat I've given them; does anyone know why? [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

:)Mine would not eat them last summer either. I think they some how know that they taste bad. If one did peck at it they would not eat it and none of the others would give a second look.[IMG]

    Odd. My girls LOVE caterpillars.
Fight over 'em whenever I find one.

I haven't tried a green one yet. I will see what happens.

I was just going to post about those web worms, but I thnk I found my answer, I threw in a whole web today full of little fuzzy caterpillars and they seemed to not care about it at all?
