I was outside today and I decided to give the chickens a caterpillar I found. They would not touch it! That is the only that they haven't eatenthat I've given them; does anyone know why?

:)Mine would not eat them last summer either. I think they some how know that they taste bad. If one did peck at it they would not eat it and none of the others would give a second look.

Mine won't touch the fuzzy ones, but if they find a green one,it's gone.

They are falling out of the trees here, can't go outside without getting one on ya.

I haven't tried a green one yet. I will see what happens.
