Tilghman Island, MD
Hello all! I am a new member. A year and a half ago a male/female Indian blue pair showed up at our house on an island in MD. They were part of a bunch (7) that a person on the island introduced, and did not take care of. All died but these two who free range, hanging out with the wild turkeys and deer. Myself and the neighbors all feed them and enjoy interacting with them. The female had four young ones hatch just before July 1, and none of us have seen her since. The male visits twice a day, and is alone, appearing lonely. Hence, my interest in obtaining company for him. Thanks for letting me research these interesting birds.

Hi! I just joined a couple of days ago.

We were adopted by a peahen this past March. Apparently they won't stick around if there's not enough food, and we are generous feeders, mostly to compensate for what the wild birds get.

It sounds like you found the Peafowl forum, great, right? I learned a lot.

And Welcome! 😀
